Cigna has recently updated its national policy to cover Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for adolescents aged 15 and older with depression. This significant change expands access to non-drug mental health treatments for teens and follows a new FDA label approval for Neuronetics, the manufacturer of the NeuroStar TMS device.
Authored by LWC Medical Director, Owen Scott Muir, M.D., this update marks an important step forward in mental health care.
