Our intro:
This article discusses a 33-year-old female patient suffering from comorbid Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She underwent depression treatment using accelerated intermittent theta-burst stimulation (iTBS) targeting two different brain regions with specialized dTMS coils (H7 and H1). Despite partial improvement from the H7 coil, she experienced worsening symptoms with the H1 coil. These findings highlight the challenges patients with multiple comorbidities face in achieving remission through TMS alone.
